UN Climate Panel: Poor Will Suffer More from Climate Change

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a UN panel, met in Japan earlier this week and released the second of three parts of a report to be published this year on the effects of climate change. The report attempts to discover the affects of climate change on human society in the coming decades. World Water Week Floats the Food Security Debate


There’s an International Talk like a Pirate Day, and a National Forest Fire Prevention Week, but did you know there is also a World Water Week from August 26 to August 31, 2012?

Stockholm International Water Institute hosts World Water Week, an annual event since 1991, to address a particular theme and enable a deeper examination of a particular water topic.
